My Great Grandmother Laura Hammond was born in Harston, I have been doing family history and traced back a few generations, Laura’s sister Ada Wilson lived in Haydon cottage. Her Daughter Dorothy Simpkins lived in Hauxton where I remember visiting when I was young. I have found a few articles which were of interest to me. I live in Australia now,am hoping to find out more on the family. Thanks for this page.

I discovered that my relative, Douglas William BATTSON was pastor at Harston Baptist Church 1948 – 1953. I would dearly love to contact any later relatives and find a photo of him. He was also pastor at Hayward’s Heath Evangelical Church (Previous to this).
