Welcome!! This site was created  in 2015 by Harston Local History Group. In the past 12 months there have been 34,000 hits including 9600 new users. There are now over 600 pages of information but we have much still to add so please revisit the site from time to time to view the latest pages or contact us if you have information, photos, memories you would like to contribute

In order to fulfil our aim of ‘Exploring Harston’s Heritage’ we have had to purchase equipment and materials, set up and maintain this website, hire the village hall for our talks, carry out research, join academic organisations, etc.. Villagers have been generous with their cash donations at our talks and displays, but if we are to continue, we need additional income. So we decided to approach local businesses for donations in return for advertising space on this website.
