The Limes

The Limes is a collection of 59 houses built in 1975-6 on what was Lime Tree Farm, hence its original name Lime Tree Farm Estate. As part of the development, Bath House,No 26 High Street, was also demolished. This had been the home of Dr Young, the village GP for many years, and later Dr Webb, his son-in-law where they also had the surgery.
