A special lockdown time
Emily Hoyle
Well my lockdown has been a rather special time for my family as our baby boy, Henry, was born at the beginning of March, one week before lockdown which meant we were all at the birth including Granny. This is the first grandchild as well, so extra special for granny and grandpa.
This has made lockdown very busy and we had to get used to a new member of the family. We also had to get nappies and formula in a time where I couldn’t go to the shops but thankfully friends were around to help us.
We are very lucky to all live next door to each other, so we got to see each other every day. We have been on lots of dog walks and introducing Henry to the world. He particularly loves our doggies. However last week, Freddie, who was very old went to doggie heaven. Whilst we miss Freddie we still have our other dog and may get a puppy soon which will be fun for Henry to play with. Henry is now eating food and looking forward to venture out into the big wide world.
