'Looking out from lockdown' Exhibition 3-11 Oct 2020
Hilary Roadley
This exhibition brought together peoples’ experiences during lockdown; how they managed and what they enjoyed or struggled with. It included all the lockdown photos for the church calendar competition that showed people’s responses to lockdown and in particular their enjoyment and appreciation of the countryside around them. The school, scouts and Community Orchard group also added their displays and there was a further smaller display in the Baptist Church, including one on the Food Hub which had been started there during lockdown.
The exhibition was meant to last for one day at the School Hall but due to further Covid 19 restrictions it was decided to move it to the Parish Church where small numbers of socially distanced locals could view the exhibition over 8 days with no fear of crowding.
The majority of the displays boards are shown above. Individual accounts of much of that shown on the displays can be found under the Harston Corona Virus section where you found this display.
