91 High Street

Part of the Park House estate but built much earlier than the main house. It has been listed by English Heritage as Grade II and described as: ‘Cottage, late 17th century. Probably timber framed, plaster rendered but the front is of red brick, painted white, and also late 17th century. Plain tiled roof hipped at junction with rear range, with gablet. Original saw tooth and dentil eaves cornice to front wall and a rebuilt ridge stack of yellow brick. Two storeys. Three later windows break the eaves cornice, and three windows at ground floor. Doorway opposite the stack.’
